DISTRICT 'E' FALL CONVENTION 2022
Thank you to to all Delegates, Observers, and Guests who attended the 2022 District 'E' Fall Convention, hosted this year by Branch 270 Coldwater from September 30 to October 2. And thank you to all members of the Coldwater Branch and Ladies' Auxiliary, the cadets from 724 "Midland Lions" Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron and from Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps Trillium in Midland, and all the volunteers who made this event the success that it was. This was the very first time a District Convention was held at the Coldwater Branch, at least according to records that go back to 1984. More than a hundred Legion members coming from the 39 branches within the district took part in the three day event. Following a Meet & Greet and registration on Friday September 30, attendees spent two days at the branch to discuss Legion issues and, well, take care of business. Activities also included a parade that marched through the downtown area and ended at the Cenotaph for a Remembrance service. More photos of the event can be seen in a Photo Album titled "District 'E' Fall Convention 2022".
