COLDWATER WELCOMES SANTA CLAUS

After a two year absence due to COVID measures, the Coldwater Lions annual Santa Claus parade was back in town last week. Indeed, on Saturday December 3, hundreds of people lined the sidewalks along Coldwater Road to watch dozens of floats and groups of participants drive, ride, march, or somehow make their way through the village downtown area. A small Legion Colour Party led the parade, marching to the music of the Orillia Pipes and Drums and the sounds of a cheering crowd. It was heartwarming to watch a resilient community getting back to the business of having fun, in spite of the chilling, gusting winds. Well done Coldwater. And thank you to all participants.
