COLDWATER CELEBRATES ST.PATRICK'S DAY 2024
Dozens of people gathered in downtown Coldwater today, March 17, to celebrate the traditional "Irish-for-the-Day" event on St. Patrick's Day. Several members of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 270 Coldwater organized and took part in this annual – quite informal - parade. They were joined by an enthusiastic crowd of local residents to march on the main street through Coldwater. Many of them carried on afterwards to the Legion's Club Room to celebrate in a definitely Irish-green environment. Live music was provided by the band Sbandex. Thank you to all who participated and/or helped with the celebrations, and congratulations to this year's King and Queen, Myles Southorn and Kaitlyn Murphy.
