CANADA DAY 2023
CANADA DAY 2023
On Saturday July 1, 2023, in spite of the smoky outdoors, more than 200 people from the Coldwater community ventured out and stopped by the branch to enjoy a fine – and free – BBQ, cooked and served by our branch volunteers and members of the Ladies' Auxiliary. It was certainly enjoyable to spend some time at the branch and celebrate among friends. Live music by The Brudders kept the party going in the Club Room. Thank you to our Entertainment coordinator, Penny Lawrence-Judges and her team of more than 20 volunteers that helped with the preparations and the BBQ. Happy Canada Day everyone!
Our Canada Day BBQ on July 1st was also an occasion for people to bring in their empties in support of our Bottle Drive. Posing by our new "Bottle Drive Thermometer" are drive coordinator, Cheryll Barr, and Brian Judges.
