The Mission
The mission of the Royal Canadian Legion is to serve Veterans, which includes serving military and RCMP members and their families, to promote Remembrance and to serve our communities and our country.
The Legion
The Royal Canadian Legion is Canada’s largest Veteran support and community service organization. Our more than 300,000 members in over 1400 Branches across Canada make a difference in the lives of Veterans and their families, provide essential services within our communities, and Remember the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our Country.
The Branch
The Coldwater Branch No 270 of the Canadian Legion of the British Empire Service League was founded on January 2, 1935, and the Branch's Ladies Auxiliary followed on May 6, 1948. Next General Meeting
We encourage all members of the Coldwater Legion to attend our monthly General Meetings. The next Branch General Meeting will take place on Tuesday April 23, 2024, starting at 6:30 p.m. Our General Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, except for July, August and December when there are no meetings.
